When an offer has been made on a real estate property and a purchase agreement reached, the realtor or mortgage broker calls a Kelowna escrow company to process the transfer of title. This includes closing all debts on the property and turning over monies to all parties involved to effect the purchase.
All debts, liens, judgements and mortgage expenses, chronological payoff quotes, assessments of current oblgations and credit card liabilities against the property address are all summed up. Every debt against a real property address in Kelowna must be settled.
